  1. Did you know that Jocylen Figueroa, Rebecca Gokberk, and David Hallgring were recognized as Edward J. Bloustein recipients by the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority?
  2. Did you know that KarlDavid Stuart-Chance achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and will be recognized at a Court of Honor on February 19, 2010?
  3. Did you know that the Girls Indoor Track Team won the 2009 Merli Invitational track meet?
  4. Did you know that David Deuchar received the Indiana University Distinction Scholarship in the amount of $36,000?
  5. Did you know that Phil Seidle won the Neptune Classic @ 215lbs? Phil is the first Neptune High School wrestling champion since 1996. On Wednesday, December 30, 2009, Phil also won the Haddon Township Tournament at 215lbs.
  6. Did you know that Tevin Reese was accepted to Seton Hall University with a $42,000 scholarship; Rider University with a $21,000 scholarship; and Temple University?
  7. Did you know that Frank Martuscelli was the recipient of the Vince Lombardi award for Neptune High School?  The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2010 at the Eatontown Sheraton at 6:00P.M.
  8. Did you know that Aleesha Chisholm was accepted to Drexel University and was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $68,000?
  9. Did you know that Sarinite Newsome was accepted to Georgian Court University and was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $42,000?
  10. Did you know that junior guard Sy'essence Davis was named the New Jersey Player of the Week?  The Girls Basketball Team has been ranked #1 by the Star Ledger for three weeks in a row.
  11. Did you know that three NHS students will be part of the Dual Enrollment Early Release Program in the spring 2010, and each have registered for two Brookdale classes? The students are Amanda Henry, David Deuchar and Brianne Addison.
  12. Did you know that 98 students enrolled in the JumpStart Law/Criminal Justice Academy?
  13. Did you know that the JumpStart Engineering Academy was featured in the Fort Monmouth monthly publication?  The MonmouthMessage featured NHS students from the Engineering Academy working with the engineers from Fort Monmouth and engineers from the engineering chapter of the IEEE.
  14. Did you know that the Neptune High School Boys Bowling Team came in second place in the Long Branch Bowling Invitational?
  15. Did you know that Daryn Michael Moure will be enlisting in the United States Army?
  16. Did you know that 17 NHS students have been accepted to participate in the 2010 Monmouth County Cotillion? Acceptance is based upon academic success in the classroom and recommendations from teachers and community leaders.
  17. Did you know that Ashley Zawistowski, David Newbey, and Warren Mello received Resolutions from the NJ State Legislature in recognition of their selection to the All-Shore teams in their respective sport?
  18. Did you know that Scott Emerson was accepted to Monmouth University and was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $20,000?
  19. Did you know that Tiara Anderson was awarded the Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award through the YMCA Black/Hispanic Achievers Club?
  20. Did you know that Marcus Johnson bowled a 265?  He missed a perfect game by scoring nine in two frames.
  21. Did you know that Imani Kelley, Ty James, Michael Evans, Kyle Lewis, and Chris Scheireck participated in the annual Physics Olympics at Monmouth Regional High?
  22. Did you know that twenty-seven Neptune HS students were accepted to the Monmouth County Arts High School for the spring 2010 school year?
