Project: Route 71 Resurfacing

Route/Direction/MP: Route 71/NB & SB/MP 1.7 to 7.56 & 10.52 to 16.78

Municipality/County: Sea Girt Borough, Spring Lake Heights Borough, Wall Twp, Belmar Borough, Avon-By-The-Sea Borough, Bradley Beach Borough, Neptune Twp, Deal Borough, Ocean Township, West Long Branch Borough, Oceanport Borough, and Eatontown Borough/Monmouth County

Nature of work: Curb repair, Milling and Paving, and incidental work

Anticipated Traffic Impacts: Temporary daytime shoulder closings and temporary nighttime lane closings with alternating traffic.

Description of New Traffic Pattern: There will be shoulder closings for camera installation and alternating traffic for milling and paving and lane shifts for curb work.

Proposed Start Date of New Traffic Pattern: Monday February 20, 2012

Any other comments: Image Detection Camera installation to begin on or about Monday February 20, 2012; Joint Repair on or about March 1, 2012; Curb Reconstruction on or about March 15, 2012; and Milling and Paving to begin on or about April 15, 2012.
