Dog Licensing

2011-2012 DOG LICENSE

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP

REGISTRATION BY MAIL

Dogs require a license at seven months or older in pursuant to local ordinance 264 §§§ 1, 2, 3.

The current dog licensing period begins on July 1, 2011 and concludes on June 30, 2012. Renewal letters will be sent every year once your dog has been initially registered in Neptune Township.

Neptune Township's Free Rabies Clinic: Saturday April 28, 2012 DPW Heck Ave 9am-11am

The New Jersey Department of Health requires all dogs must be vaccinated for rabies, with a valid date of at least 10 months of the licensing period. The rabies expiration date must be valid until at least May 1, 2012 or later. A VPH-28 certificate of exemption from rabies vaccination is available on our website, and must be signed by your veterinarian if your dog cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition.
