"I'm Safe and Sure"
Green Grove kindergarteners are finishing up a six-week "I'm Safe & Sure" course, teaching coping skills, finding a trusted adult, and positive decision making. The classes, taught by Campfire USA instructor Sue Wurzler (Mrs.W), feature storyboard characters and age-appropriate role playing.
The program, delivered to every Neptune kindergarten class, is sponsored by the Neptuune Township Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism & Drug Abuse.

The Neptune Township Alliance Summer Program is well underway with 75 participants, ages 9-15, joining in the nightly life skills and recreation activities. The program runs Monday through Friday for the month of July at Green Grove School, and includes games, fun, positive decision making skills, prevention messages, and trips.
The free program is sponsored by the Neptune Township Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

Check out the billboard!

In recognition of December as Drunk & Drugged Driving Awareness Month, Neptune Peer Leadership and the Neptune Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism & Drug Abuse teamed up for a billboard promoting a message to the public to not drink and drive.
The Peer Leaders provided the artwork for the billboard and the Alliance paid to rent the billboard space. The Peer Leaders also had smaller boards made to post around Neptune High School.
Be sure to drive by the billboard on Hwy 35 North just below the Asbury Park Circle!
