Neptune Township was the recipient of not one, but three Achievement in Planning Awards bestowed by the NJ Planning Officials. The NJPO provides education, support and information to over 9.000 members. This was their 13th Annual Awards Banquet. SCHOOLHOUSE SQUARE is a $16million urban development offering high quality affordable housing in Neptune. MIDTOWN COMMONS, a 51,999 square foot commercial building houses the Family Health Center of Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

There were 5000 colored eggs and lots of prizes at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Bert Willis Field on Saturday, April 16.

Owners Alexa and Marc DiGiorgio and manager, Teri Francy, were hosts at their Grand Opening of the IHOP Restaurant in Neptune on Saturday, January 20, 2011. Attending the ceremony were Neptune Twp Mayor, Kevin McMillan; Linda Talbot and Jim Dallas of the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce; Linda Massaro of Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce; Linda Keenan, Development Director of Monmouth-Ocean Food Bank and boxer, Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson.

After serving 15 years on the Township Committee, including three terms as Mayor, family and friends of Jim held a special appreciation dinner at the Jumping Brook Country Club.
